Experience Connection

With Sarah, Somatic Breathwork Practitioner

Sarah is…

This section always feels tricky to write, we are made up of so many different parts and how do I choose what to share?

I grew up on military bases as an eldest child with the characteristics of following the rules and being a “good girl”. Unraveling my upbringing and paving my own path is an ever-changing journey of discovering how I actually want to show up in this world. I would describe myself as a deeply feeling person that loves to laugh; I want people to feel seen in their human experience.

Caring for young children and their families has been a huge part of my life taking form in the roles of a volunteer doula, to an Early Head Start teacher inside of a women’s correctional facility and a lactation specialist at a local hospital. (Ask me about the time John Legend played to a room full of incarcerated women on an old beat up piano.) During my work with infants and toddlers I found a growing interest in the emotional wellbeing of the adults in children’s lives.

I became a mother in 2014, experienced loss in 2016 and then welcomed two more children. Being a mother of 3 is my greatest accomplishment.

slow down, re-center

We need time to slow down, go inward and connect to ourselves. To bring awareness to what we are actually feeling and holding onto in our bodies.

Your relationship with yourself is the longest relationship you will have in your lifetime - which is why it should be nurtured and prioritized.

The relationship you have with yourself ripples out to every other relationship in your life.

Breathwork provides an opportunity for self-reflection and inquiry.

My role is to be a guide and an empathetic witness.

  • "I first went to one of Sarah's sessions back in September 2024, and I was sold. I now attend her breathwork sessions on a monthly basis. Breathwork has reduced anxiety that I had been struggling with for years. I feel more embodied and secure with myself after a session. She is such a wonderful guide. She makes you feel safe, while leading with confidence. She truly cares about each person in the room, making them feel seen and important. I highly recommend working with Sarah!"

It felt like such a treat to be with my friends in the space that she led (we did a combined yoga+breathwork). She went above and beyond to make the event special for me and it will be a forever memory. Thank you Sarah!"

  • "Sarah just gets it. I suffer from military PTSD for over 20 yrs. Somehow the energy she holds allows me to feel more confident and able to get through a yoga/breathwork session."
